"Horrible experience with State Farm for an ongoing claim that took 2years not once did they help me. Finally got my car back that still was not working properly and did what was advised of me just for them to look for a reason to deny my claim and not help me. No one in the office could help me and the claim handlers were beyond rude and no helpful. Now I’m stuck paying Toyota dealership a $800 bill because they denied my claim. Im sickened to my stomach due to this stress and will have to take this to the insurance bureau for review."

Let us know if there is anything we can do on your behalf or what the DOI says and perhaps we can go from there. "

"UPDATED REVIEW PREVIOUSLY I GAVE THEM 5 STARS BUT NOW MY UPDATED REVIEW EXPLAINS WHY IM CHANGING MY REVIEW I got a voice-mail on my phone that explained something to the effect I needed to call in and verify my truck was in an accident or something and something to do with my drivera license. We played phone tag a bit. I returned the call and spoke to a woman who explained what she seen in the notes. Oddly the agent who did my policy did not call me back. So I explained to her I didn't own the truck at the time she listed. (Bought in January or February of 2023) and did not own the vehicle on 2017 or whenever the date was that she gave me. As for my license she let me know it was expired so I made an appt to renew it. I got another call with this office and confirmed with the lady the same information and she said ok no big deal. If you don't get the license thing its no biggy. I said I plan to renew it, and apologized for not knowing it was expired. (I don't get pulled over, and don't need id for anything I do so it hadn't come up for me) This woman said they would call me if they needed anything and said no problem. Didn't hear back and let it go. Assuming I'd send a pick of new license. Then I get a voice-mail (( I live in Boulder CREEK with poor service due to zero towers since CZU)) AND they informed me that my truck was in an accident and I needed to show proof of the settlement or something. THIS AGAIN??? Truck doesn't even have any real damage so I never asked previous owner anything. So I reached out to previous owner and requested a statement from them they owned the truck. I had already told the state farm agent (female) that I could send in the registration or? Please advise me!! But again every conversation was like a wall through an insurance class where no one knew the material the questions or the answers. I asked her to reach out to me if they need ANYTHING. THE PLOT THICKENS. Yesterday Feb 6th I got my mail and in it, was 2 cancelation notices for both my insured vehicles. Shocked is an understatement. I should have been called by the agent who I signed with and informed in the first place. Then I should have been told I'd lose my policy if something wasn't fixed. 1) TRUCK WANT OWNED BY ME WHEN IT WAS IN SOME ACCIDENT! 2) Renewing my license is no big deal. I don't have tickets, duis, accidents etc ..26+ years of driving and no real record so im not sure why they couldn't have called and let me know id lose my policy because of what was told to me was *no big deal* is apparently A BIG DEAL. I can't believe the amount of gas lighting and poor customer service in this whole deal. Imagine finding out your policy is canceled not because of non payment but because of incompetence. *************************************** First off- Had a fantastic agent help me start my policy. Thank you!! Second - Past insurance dropped us upon renewal due to hardships within their own misuse of funds via bad investments. They are not writing policies in California. What?! I had to many issues with this agency anyways as English wasn't a first language for most of the staff. I tried calling AAA to get set up but service was not working so I tried the next day to no avail. I just felt a lil overwhelmed with concern to be driving around without insurance. Far to many hang ups in the past. The agent I spoke to was wonderful. Kind, smart, attentive. I am a high maintenance client. I'm doing 100 things at a time and clearly this agent was wonderfully patient and understanding. Fantastic experience and easy transaction. Got my policy started in minutes and thoroughly enjoyed learning a bit more about how insurance can work for my family. Thank you."
